**Authorities Seek Driver in Tucson Fatal Hit-and-Run**

**Driver Sought in Fatal Hit-and-Run on I-10 in Tucson**

Tucson, AZ - A fatal hit-and-run incident occurred on Saturday, July 6, 2024, at around 10:08 p.m. on westbound Interstate 10 near Congress Street, at milepost 259. A female pedestrian was walking on the right shoulder when she was struck by a vehicle that did not stop at the scene.

The victim was rushed to a local hospital but later died from her injuries.

Authorities have identified the suspect vehicle as a Ford Expedition SUV from the model years 1997 to 1999, featuring the Eddie Bauer trim package. The color of the vehicle remains unknown.

Arizona Department of Public Safety officials are urging anyone with information regarding the driver or the vehicle to contact them at 1-877-4AZ-TIPS or to submit a tip online at azdps.gov/tips. When providing information, please reference incident number I24039584.
