Arizona Department of Public Safety is hosting a STEM Training and Application in Real World Public Safety (S.T.A.R.) program for high school students ages 16-18. The program combines science, technology, engineering, and mathematics with public safety careers through hands-on activities and demonstrations. Activities may include biometrics, K-9 units, SWAT operations, crime scene reconstruction, drone use, hazmat operations, and more.

The Tucson session will take place from June 2 through 4, 2025, from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., while the Phoenix session will be held from June 16 through 19, 2025, with the same hours. There are no fees to attend.
