Maricopa-Casa Grande Highway reopened after vehicle-pedestrian crash

MARICOPA, Ariz. — The Maricopa-Casa Grande Highway is open as of 6 a.m., according to the Maricopa Police Department.

The roadway had been closed in both directions between Porter Road and White & Parker Road while investigators reviewed a serious injury vehicle-pedestrian collision. The department said it is unknown how long the roadway would be closed. The Pinal County Vehicular Crimes Unit is responding to assist with the investigation. Updates will be shared on the post.
