Community-Wide Shabbat Registration Deadline Approaches

The registration deadline for a community-wide Shabbat at the Tucson Jewish Community Center (JCC) is Thursday, November 7. This event will take place on Friday, November 15, from 5:45 PM to 8:30 PM. Representatives from many of Southern Arizona’s leading congregations and educational institutions will come together for an evening of prayer, tradition, and community connection.

The evening will begin with candle lighting and minyanim, followed by a kosher dinner prepared by Asher Amar, under the supervision of Rabbi Bill Lewkowicz. Participants will have the opportunity to connect with their Jewish identities and experiences in a supportive environment.

The following organizations and synagogues will participate in this event: Beth Shalom Temple Center, Brandeis National Committee – Tucson Chapter, Congregation Anshei Israel, Congregation Beit Simcha, Congregation Bet Shalom, Congregation Chaverim, Congregation M'Kor Hayim, Hadassah, Jewish Community Relations Council for Tucson and Southern Arizona, JFCS of Southern Arizona, Jewish Philanthropies of Southern Arizona, Kol Ami Synagogue, Northwest Tucson Jewish Community, PJ Library in Southern Arizona, PJ Our Way in Southern Arizona, Tucson Jewish Museum & Holocaust Center, Tucson Hebrew Academy, Hillel University of Arizona, and the Weintraub Israel Center.
